Consulting Administration Manager

Job Summary:

Savvion is seeking to hire a Consulting Administration Manager in our Santa Clara, California headquarters reporting directly to the VP of Professional Services.

The Consulting Administration Manager position requires an energetic, reliable person with great organizational and people centered skills. Specific responsibilities include the following:

Assist with management of the Professional Services Scope-of-Work (SOW) process

  • Maintain templates
  • Maintain repository
  • Assign and Track SOW numbers
  • Coordinate reviews and approvals
  • Update bookings worksheet

Budget tracking and reporting by project

  • Ensure POs are received for all approved SOWs
  • Track services and expenses against the PO
  • Escalate when budget hits trigger

Time tracking and reporting

  • Record time for all projects on tracking spreadsheet
  • Track and report on utilization by consultant

Invoice tracking and reporting

  • Review & approve subcontractor invoices for accuracy
  • Review & approve client invoices for accuracy
  • Track invoice payment status by coordinating with Finance

Subcontractor contract administration

  • Create work orders

Maintain consulting directory & staffing log

Assist Finance Dept

  • Provide month end accruals for missing subcontractor time and expense invoices
  • Assist with collections of client invoices as necessary
  • Assist with gathering information for audits

Coordinate Training

  • Maintain training schedule
  • Coordinate logistics for training classes held onsite and offsite
  • Follow up on leads
  • Market training courses
  • Order training materials as necessary

Travel

  • Coordinate travel for PS consultants

Industry analysts and large enterprises now consider BPM to be one of the most important enterprise software markets. It is also a fast moving competitive market. We are looking for a Lead Engineer with release, build and installer development experience. He or She will manage a small team of highly talented engineers.

Skills: CVS, Subversion, configuration management, Ant, installers, J2EE Application Servers, Windows, Linux, Solaris, Oracle and DB2.

The successful candidate should have excellent software configuration and release management experience. Candidate must have hands on experience in developing enterprise class product multi-platform Java installers. Demonstrated experience in version control (CVS), software builds, change management including defect tracking is required. S/he should have strong technical and management skills with the experience in leading small team of people

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement build and integration procedures and processes.
  • Build and release software to QA for testing on regular basis.
  • Closely work with IT on hardware and software requirements for Configuration Management System(CVS)
  • Ability to troubleshoot any issues with Configuration Management System
  • Optimization of build processes to increase build efficiency
  • Administration of the hardware and software systems required to support the builds
  • Documentation of build instructions and processes as they relate to specific projects
  • Implement processes to manage and integrate 3rd party software to project code lines
  • Work with various groups on open source library selection and enforcing the policies.
  • Evaluate and select tools to support and improve SCM processes
  • Help develop strategies for process improvements
  • Manage a small team of highly talented people

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in computer science, or other related disciplines.
  • 5 or more years experience in implementing and maintaining SCM systems
  • Experience in managing small teams

Must have skills:

  • Expert in Ant programming
  • Working experience with J2EE technologies and various application servers including WebLogic, WebSphere and Pramati
  • Proficient in CVS administration
  • Thorough understanding of source branch and merge techniques
  • Experience developing customer facing installers and automated deployment tools
  • Proven performance in working with teams of engineers in various stages of development
  • Proven knowledge of best practices software development lifecycle
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Experience with some Java programming and JUnit
  • Multi-platform experience in Windows, Linux, and Solaris

Desired skills:

  • Familiarity with Eclipse and plugin integration
  • Relational database experience esp. Oracle, MSSQL Server and DB2.
  • Programming skills including Java and UNIX Shell scripting

Sr. Strategic Account Sales - Midwest

REPORTING: Western VP
LOCATION: Detroit, Chicago, or Virginia

JOB PROFILE

The individual will be required to take an active role in the sales strategy of the Company in order to drive direct sales in the Midwest Region. The selected candidate will inherit a market full of documented pain and a solution-set that is emerging as a front-runner in rapidly growing pure play BPM market.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES

  • Direct selling within Detroit and Chicago metro area.or other Midwest accounts and Virginia
  • Account management and grow existing customers.
  • Paired with an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer
  • Preparation of sales proposals to prospects and existing customers including coordination with our clients’ staff on technical feasibility and implementation.
  • Preparation of business forecasts, sales plans and quarterly performance reports for submission to management.
  • Attendance at company seminars and public exhibitions.
  • Close working relationships with Sales Engineers and eventually sales teams.

PREFERRED PROFILE

  • A technically sophisticated, creative closer and sales manager with experience selling big ticket (avg ticket > $400,000), technical software and services, preferably in the area of software integration, Process Automation Tools, possibly Portals and infrastructure products and services to major Fortune 500 corporations.
  • Successful and consistent sales record is essential.
  • Brings a track record of landing “lighthouse accounts” and deals > $1M
  • Acted as the point person on relationships with early stage prospects as well as strategic partners.
  • Demonstrated highly effective communication and relationship skills at the CXO level.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven sales success/skills essential.
  • Experience selling to technical audience.
  • Good knowledge of enterprise infrastructure world.
  • Experience with EAI, Software Development Tools and BPM technologies is a major advantage.
  • Proven management skills essential.
  • Proven business development skills essential.
  • Minimum Bachelors degree. Advanced degree preferable.

Solutions Consultant

Positions Open in New York/ New Jersey, Charlotte, Atlanta, Chicago, Kansas City and Dallas

Savvion Solutions Consultant work directly with our customers and partners in developing state-of-the-art e-business solutions. Solutions Consultant provide expertise in all stages of the full life-cycle development process. They assist in implementing business processes and in designing and implementing interfaces to customers' and partners' business systems, as well as, providing guidance in developing systems for high availability and performance. Software Engineer also participate in developing our Professional Services Best Practices and Methodologies.

Requisite skills

  • Strong hands-on technical skills (Java, JSP, J2EE and XML are required)
  • 4+ years of experience implementing medium to large-scale distributed applications
  • Solid working knowledge of UNIX and NT environments
  • Experience using object oriented design and development methodologies
  • Experience with the full life-cycle development process, including long term project deployment experience

Requisite skills

  • Strong hands-on technical skills (Java, JSP, J2EE and XML are required)
  • 7+ years of experience in designing and building multi-tier web-based enterprise applications
